It depends on how large the milkweed plant is. The small larva don't eat much but when they are larger, they can eat about one and a half six/seven inch long leaves a day until they 'spin'. I usually find one or two larva per plant naturally. Thanks, again.

I bought several different species of milkweed, do they like them all or is it just one?
