Let's get real folks:
We really do need "universal" health care. Folks who don't have coverage often use the ER as their primary care, and the rest of us pay for that already.
The ACA should be, in my opinion, only a "foot in the door" to get that process started. The concept is good, the execution is terrible, and the sign-up implementation is appalling. There is a lot of room for improvement, so we should quite whining and make them.
You want to make some serious improvements in our society? 1) Do something about the medical insurance industry, and 2) fire congress.
