Hector, absolutely no clue, again, the gift from the same friend, it is huge, I did trim it a LOT this summer, and it grows like a weed here in Miami. I have picture of them but not clue what's the name:-)

Ah, my specialty! Probably N. alata, that one is really common as far as Neps go and it matches your plant closely enough. Maybe N. ventrata?

Amazing looking flower. The layers of petals made me think it was a water lily alliance but the form is definitely complex.

SlipperGirl, YOU CAN! As strange as it sounds, this is the plant my grandma used to grow back in Czech, inside the house, year round! She had it in a big pot, and there was few wire bridges made for the plant to "vine on". They are still extremely popular in house plants back in Europe and many people grows them, the only thing is, you have to trim them often, but it is worth the work for the gorgeous blooms!

SlipperGirl, mine is taking over bamboo balcony railing and pushing itself towards the full sun, it grows very well on full sun I must say, no harm at all, and it likes water as well. It really grows like a weeds, I feel little bet when trimming it, but I mean, it grows meters and meters every month, it would take over the balcony if not trimmed:-) And yes, there is many articles on Czech website for these grown indoor. They do really well indoors:-) Easy to grow, I mean, my grandma had few, and grew them with the only care she ever provided - water!

Tindomul, no trelli at all, my bamboo balcony railing is the trelli for this one, and it is OVER FLOATING my balcony, thanks God neighbors downstairs do not mind, YET:-) When you look at the balcony from outside, it makes gorgeous effect, like one of these houses with walls covered in green:-)

Nice, I can't grow mine outdoors, at least not in the winter.

Mine did well indoors in the winter but grew so fast that I was constantly cutting it back. It didn't even have very good light where in was. Our winters are very dull.
