Ours bloom x-mas and summer . We put them on balcony in full sun in summer and feed normally, in Sept. we stop all food and give 12 hour uninterrupted darkness and they seem quite reliable for us.

That's almost the same as two of mine in bloom at the moment!

That color is my favorite!!!

I bought a large pot of that color last fall, with several hundred flowers.
Well, it barely last one week. It was an expensive week! lol

One I dropped is nearly dead now.

The large one that looks like a little tree is loaded with electric pink flowers, and I'm loving it!!!!
I can't get a nice picture of it.
I still have it all bundled up in the plastic bag. lol

There is also a red one, but I think this is my least favorite.

Today, a white one opened its first flower.
It looks much better in person than in my picture. It is pure white with fuchsia pistil in the center.

So I read that the while flowers will turn pink when grown too cool while buds are being formed in the fall.
I will find out next year, of course I can manage to keep this thing alive and rebloom.

It's a shame that you do not keep the plants from year to year. They are relatively easy to rebloom. I keep mine in the same window (west facing) as my orchids and water them on the same once a week schedule as the orchids. Mine are in full bloom once again. I have had these for six years so far.

Mine was profuse this year. It still has some coming
on as well. I wish I'd taken a picture of it to post but I
didn't think of it.

They are so easy growing. I can put nearly dead links (or limbs?) on or into a humid bed of clay pellets or hydroponics. Then I water and fertilize them like orchids and within one year I have good flowering plants.

Great thread! I've had two zygo's for a year and a half. They were in bloom at Easter when I bought them but this Easter I only got one flower. I probably overwatered them. They are currently budding now and I'm holding my breath hoping the buds don't drop.I've been stingy with water this time.

Do you mist yours?

I repotted mine after bringing them from the Home Depot (they dropped all their buds, of course), washed off all the peat, etc. They are quite wrinkly at the moment. Misting seems to help, sort of a "lettuce effect" but I was wondering if it's a move in a wrong direction?
