these seedlings are about 18 months old.
I found one blog post that said that seedlings can be forced into dormancy, most say they must grow year-round.
I have a space problem and would prefer them to go into storage, along with my other bulbs.
Has anyone any advice to offer - based on their experience ?
Ironically - as you can see in the photo - some of the seedlings have produced offsets. The last thing I need ! As these are a product of a selfing, I wonder if the seedlings have returned to type and lost the mother characterisitics? I suppose only time will tell - hope to bloom these next year. The mother only produced offsets this year - after 3 years !
there is also a range of bulb sizes evident. Some are large and some appear to be the same size as when I planted them out a couple of months back.
