I just got a micro-mini sinningia at our Gesneriad Meeting.
It would be perfect for a terrarium. The plant is as big as my thumbnail !

This site has many different types
Dave's Violets

I find these great orchid companions !

Amazing stuff, I bought one too, and it was smaller than my thumbnail. Its not doing so well. How do you keep yours alive?

well its in a sealed baggie in sphag ! I am going to try and acclimate it over a period of weeks. I did the same to my petrocosmea and its finally doing well, flowering too.

Interesting factoid. I have a couple of streptocarpus - I find them easy to grow. All are in mini dixie cups. Well I happened to come across one in a nursery - growing outdoors, in a 1 gallon container ! I was informed at our Meeting that yep, they do grow large and that is why they are grown in small containers. And I thought these were naturally mini I grew my achimenes outdoors in 6in pots. These mostly do grow large !
