off the topic completely, I really do not aim for orchids, I love the prices they have in California, I love products they do sell, and I just hope they will keep BOTH (prices and items) in their Florida store. II will go next week morning time, they open tomorrow and it will be just brutal, and I am not ninja warrior, so I will let all the crazy ones do weekend and I will drive when most people works:-))))

I think the prices will be the same. IIRC TJ in DC were priced same as here in CA.
As I stated elsewhere, I have 3 stores in a 5 mile radius and there are slight stock differences (I've noticed bready things and fancy salads).

Small differences does not matter, as far as they have at least 50% of the items they carry in CA;-) I would be very happy!

I haven't had it yet this year...I may be remembering it better than it actually is. That is always the risk with these things that come around once per year.

Sweet!
The more orchids you buy the more interesting their stock becomes.
The one by my house gets nothing but the same phals over and over again.
The one 10 minutes down the road gets paphs, miltonia, brassia, cattleya, oncidium, intergenerics, epidendrums, nobile dens, phal dens, antelope dens, zygopetalum, phals (including some hard to find scented ones), mini cattleyas.... and... I feel like I'm forgetting something. Hmm...
They also get random odds and ends in orchid wise.
And if you look a lot come with tags.
There's some named hybrids and species orchids scattered in.
My advice. Wait till you see a large plant with a high flower count. I really want this one brassia hybrid they get in at a near constant rate.
But I'm waiting till a good one comes in.
Sometimes it's two psuedobulbs with one spike for $13, others it's 12 psuedobulbs and 7 spikes for $13.
It pays to be patient with Trader Joe's... with the stuff they get in at a constant rate anyhow.
