Just an assortment of shots I took this morning ...



This next shot struck me as rather amusing ... like some silly alien from a Star Wars movie.






Not sure what it was about the way the sun was shining through in this photo, but I found it rather appealing.






If you look carefully you can see a pebbly texture to the ping's leaves from the glands which release the mucilage the plant uses to trap small insects.
