Is there a tune or CD that you just had to listen to right now? For me, it was the 4th CD of the Jimi Hendrix CD boxed set. It has kind of a different ending. The last tune is called 'Slow Blues.' Apparently, it was the last tune he was working on and he did not have enough tape to finish it. It cuts off right in the middle of the song. For those of you that liked Hendrix, as I did, this is a very good CD. I have a lot of his other stuff including all of his main CD's plus the Woodstock CD, which has everything he did at Woodstock plus a CD just titled Blues and an acoustic CD that he did.

Default If you like SRV

What about Chris Duarte? Have you heard any of his stuff? There is one that I think is good called 'Texas Sugar.' Also, do you like Kenny Wayne Sheppard? What about some of the older blues, like Jimmy Dawkins, aka Fast Fingers?

I have such an extensive collection of music that there isn't one that I go back to regularly. Right now with the cold weather and snow we are experienceing I tend to migrate towards Israel Kamakawiwo'ole or just plain IZ. It's Hawaiian music I love, but then I am editing photos from Hawaii, so go figure!

Default I have lots of music that I never see

for quite some time. Ihave almost 700 CD's, but I get an urge to hear something specific quite often.

This is the kind of stuff I like

Today I cut a flower and it rained and it rained Waiting for my love and it rained and
it rained
.

Quickly the people, passed on by, ran and deserted the city because it rained.

I put myself to think so many pretty things As the day on the beach When I first met you.

How wind played With your hair, Oh that luck Your glance and mine.

When my love arrives I will say so many
things, or perhaps simply give her a rose.

So that I cut a flower and it rained and it rained Waiting for my love and it rained and it rained.

Let your song make me happy Let your laughter make me happy, let the silence be happy with Your glance and mine.

We will be chatting ourselves by the empty streets we will be kissing by the empty streets.

And they will know that I love you Those empty streets
and I will be telling so many pretty things you.As the day on the beach When I first met you.

How wind played With your hair,
Ay that luck, that luck Your glance and mine.

When my love arrives I will say so many
things, or perhaps simply give her a rose.

Default Bob Dylan-Modern Times

Some of Dylan's stuff is good and some is not so good. This is pretty good, as is most of the stuff he has put out recently.
