hoya with lost tag
This hoya grows alongside some of my orchids. I think of it as my 'Vulcan Warbird' because the flowers look so alien. I had the tag years ago but it is lost in space.

Very cool! Looks like Hoya macgillivrayi to my inexpert eye, please let me know if you're ever interested in trading a cutting for something.

That certainly looks like it and I seem to recognize the name. Thank you! Actually, what we have is a cutting from the original plant which we gave to a friend when it outgrew our trellis. It's taking its sweet time to re-establish. We were surprised and delighted to find these flowers.

Inquired of a hoya-nut I know, and she thinks it may be H. archboldiana but would need to see a photo of the leaves to be sure.

Thanks, Paul, but I don't think it is h. archboldiana. The flowers on mine are starshaped while the pictures I've seen doing a search show archboldiana blooms as round. I'm fairly certain it is Macgillivrayi.
