hoya with lost tag
This hoya grows alongside some of my orchids. I think of it as my 'Vulcan Warbird' because the flowers look so alien. I had the tag years ago but it is lost in space.

That certainly looks like it and I seem to recognize the name. Thank you! Actually, what we have is a cutting from the original plant which we gave to a friend when it outgrew our trellis. It's taking its sweet time to re-establish. We were surprised and delighted to find these flowers. |

Inquired of a hoya-nut I know, and she thinks it may be H. archboldiana but would need to see a photo of the leaves to be sure.

Thanks, Paul, but I don't think it is h. archboldiana. The flowers on mine are starshaped while the pictures I've seen doing a search show archboldiana blooms as round. I'm fairly certain it is Macgillivrayi. |
