Any suggestion for ripe peaches ?
The branches in our blushing star peach tree are bending, there is so much fruit. Unfortunately they are not good for canning - turn to mush. We don't really eat jams/jellies. We like chutney so that's on the list. Any other recommendations ? We will of course give a lot away...

I meant make ice cream.
I'm actually not a big consumer of peaches. I only like fresh white peaches-not too soft, not too firm.
But your comment about passion fruit (fresh?) gives me a couple of ideas. Peach juice/spritzer/agua fresca, peach granitas/ice/sorbet. Do these peaches freeze well-to make pies in winter?

yes ! peach spritzers will work.
Never frozen peaches before, will try.
Every year we get a big box of fresh passion fruit from CA.
It's a seasonal treat.
Our local Whole Foods sells them 2 for $5.

Grilling fruits has been popular at BBQ's here. I've seen charred pears at restaurants with fancy steaks.

Um... peach cobbler! Hello!
There's this great prepackaged mix that I get at the grocery. Whistle Stop I think it is. Just add your own fruit and go!
And... I've been wanting to try this recipe for peach salsa, so I vote that you do it so that I can live vicariously through you.

Since bellinis have already been floated, I suggest chutney.
