Here in Michigan the Irises start to go dormant in mid July Yesterday was a perfect time NO RAIN to do it. Tonight though it's going to rain AGAIN &^%$. got out the boots. JamesL

When I used to live in the Rocky area where the summer is very short, I also divided my Iris in the mid summer.
