Whether or not you believe in Global Warming or whether it is man made or not, there is nothing to be lost by conserving our resources and cleaning our air, water and earth. Living on a cesspool has no appeal for anyone.....

Well said, Phantasm. We all need to do our best for the planet, nature and for the future generation.

I wonder why it leveled out from 1940 to 1980? Strange. Thanks for that graph.

Tin, I read about this report earlier today in this article:
How a changing climate will cause more birds to take flight from Britain - Times Online

Although we may get new visitors from the continent, we will likely lose some of our own native species.

Antartica loosing ice faster than expected.
They should ship the ice out to the Sahara. :P

Thanks Shakkai. That really sucks about the native birds. I expect much the same to happen throughout the world as time goes on. Britain is probably just the first to feel the effects due to its geography.

Climate change brings havoc into China,
China battles "coldest winter in 100 years" - Yahoo! News

On another note, why is the US sending 150,000 to China for aid? Obviously its just a courtesy, but who sends us money when we get natural disasters? Besides, China is a big girl now. She can take care of herself.
Who the heck is making these decisions? (Sorry for the rant).
