'Seeing' it visually really helped me. The shocker, for me, was the satellite photo of 'Urban Growth'... that photo comparing Las Vegas in 1973 and then in 2000 was amazing. And just think about the resources it takes to sustain a city like that in the middle of the desert!!

I've not heard about the poison dart frogs... but I do know that slugs and snail which used to die off over the winter are now overwintering and growing into giants!

Temps here don't often get below freezing, most times it stays well above that. Like this weekend, the overnight low will be around 8C or 10C (46-50F). (Daytime high aren't much higher! But the lows aren't really low.)

Yes, Tin, very scary.... They were previously predicting the ice would be gone by 2050 or 2100, now it is appearing it will be much sooner, certainly within the next decade.
