Sea Urchin entrails, a Japanese delicacy, lol... I refused to eat it despite knowing the cultural ramifications. Luckily, they all just laughed at me!

Must say though that raw Sea Urchin is quite tasty!!!! A bit chewy and strange, but tasty!

I love sea urchin roe. Chewy? Not sure what you're eating.

It wasnt roe I was eating, but the urchin itself. Cooked it may have been different, but raw was an experience. Yes, it was served as sushi, lol...

How do you eat it since sea urchin is so spiky??
I've had sea urchin eggs raw, which was rather creamy and nice.

It was served as sashimi, so sliced thin. I assume unwanted or unsightly parts were shaved off. It was served flat. Cant say I was a big fan though, lol...

While I was in the Caribbean islands, conch is a staple.
Me and my co-workers had so much conch that some of us were all conched out! XD
