Ever done the supertaster test?

Anyone here a supertaster? I was just looking up a bunch of stuff, i don't really want to pay to buy the test strips so i did the food coloring test. Some people say if you have 30 and above you are a super taster, others say 35 and above.
When you dye your tongue blue you count the pink dots that aren't dyed in a reinforcement label circle. I did the food color test last night and woke up with blue lips haha my mother said i looked like a corpse.
I wanted to post my results to see if you guys can figure out if im a super taster or not (i keep getting diff numbers) but i don't know if anyone would be grossed out at my blue tongue haha.

I am in fact a super taster... though I haven't done the food dye test...
So is my fiance... It's weird because opposite things bother us.
You would think the super tasters would find the same things gross but we don't.


But you should totally post a picture of your tongue.

From what I can see, you are a super taster.
I did that simple test in my Biology class and I am just an average taster.

So, as a super taster, are you a picky eater??

Somewhat, I can taste any off flavors. I've trained myself to eat certain foods otherwise I would be very unhealthy but I still stay away from bell peppers and raw veggies they have to be cooked a specific way.
My parents said it was hell trying to make me eat certain foods.

I think you are too.

I'm not a terribly picky eater. I love veggies and stuff...
At the same time I find lots of things overwhelmingly disgusting.
Grapefruit and asparagus are the first on that list.
They just taste of bitter tongue drying gasoline to me.

Though I don't really think the grapefruit had much to do with being a super taster.

Broccolinni tastes disgusting to me.
As does home grown broccoli.
Weirdly I love the store bought stuff.

Oranges are gross.... so is bacon...
But mandarins are awesome.
Green bell peppers are... erm.... powerful.
And jalapenos (and siracha) taste like plastic and gasoline.

Smoked meat makes me gag...
And dill makes me woozy.

But with most foods, it's not that I dislike the taste.... I can just really really taste it.
I find alot of the foods from stores and restaurants overpowering in the flavor department.

The ones listed above are just some of the ones that I'm convinced aren't actually edible.
Like cranberries.

I never understood whats so tasty about grapefruit it's overwhelmingly bitter! I'm an adventurous taster I would try any type of food, like all peppers taste like plastic to me but once a while I still go ahead and add jalapenos to something, I like the kick of it lol. I absolutely love kielbasa(russian salami/smoked sausage) and cranberry juice really wakes me up, like a jolt no coffee for me! It makes me sick but it tastes good.

I did once in high school.

That's what grapefruit taste like to me.
I can handle bitter.
The chemical taste is what kills me.

I've found I few peppers that actually don't taste of plastic to me. So I use those in place if the more popular ones...
