Soveriegn and Naranja, which is orange in Spanish.

Bad news is then, neither are truly orange.
You will find out when it flowers.
May be it'll turn up being an apple! Time will tell.
Gracias.

The last couple of years I've grown mine until around November, then withheld water completely but left it in the pot. Once the leaves have died back I've put it in my greenhouse (minimum arround 5C, 41F). I bring it it during the spring and start watering again.

I think I usually dry it a bit late, and leave it cold longer than most people. I have heard they need about 6 weeks colder/drier and many people aim to bring them back in with time to get them flowering for Christmas.

By the way... mine now has flowers on it's second scape this year (the first has died back)

That's basically what I do although some of them refuse to lose leaves even when bone dry.

I keep them dry in pot, but I have no storage or greenhouse, so they stay in the apartment where it is quite warm.

They would sleep for about two to three months and start showing scapes with/without leaves around early spring.

I thought about trying them in the fridge in the fall and shoot for flowers around Christmas as well, but I always have lots of fruits and veggies in it, and didn't want to ruin the developing flower stalk in the bulbs.

oh, well...maybe get myself a mini fridge for treating amaryllis. lol

Well, it's actually turning out a true orange quite nicely!
Can't wait!

This is how it looks today morning.
