I almost thought it was a Red Lion, which is very nice red. That is really red red for any Sovereign I've ever seen!

Aphrodite is so large spanning about 10in wide and the other one is about 8in across.
Last year, Aphrodite flowers had too much red being right against the window so I brought the pot inside two weeks ago. I think it worked because the flowers are just like two years ago, mostly whte with some red and pink here and there.
Pictures here are nothing like seeing them in person.
My favorite!!! Aphrodite is also scented.
The second bulb of 'Show Master' has finally decided to wake up this week and I see the tips of two scapes emerging together. I like this characteristic about this variety.

They are gorgeous and your photography is exceptional!
The fourth and fifth ones should be enlarged and framed. I could see them in black and white and color copies with a white mat. If I took pictures like those I would have them on my wall. LOVE THEM!
The fourth and seventh are frame worthy too or great for a calendar. They are all beautiful, blooms and pictures, those are just my favorites.

I don't know anything about these plants but they're beautiful, how long do the flowers last?

I'd say each flower lasts about a week if it isn't in direct sunlight. Each stalk has several flowers and they don't open at once, so it extends the blooming a bit. I have had some that all the blossoms opened within a few days of each other and put out a beautiful display. Some of my larger bulbs have two or three stalks and bloom for a couple of months

so my mom gave me a plant as a housewarming present when my fiance and I moved in together, a bulb with a couple of long leaves in a pot...had no idea what it was, but I was determined to keep it going. it's survived a bug infestation that killed all its leaves (as well as a great deal of my herb garden, but it all seems to have bounced back pretty well...and luckily, it hit in the fall anyway), and a year and a half later, it's actually blooming. so I had to poke my mom for the name of that plant a couple of weeks ago. XD ...and I'm surprised to find an amaryllis thread here!

Is this true color or has the color in the photo came out with strong orange hue??
My first thought was Amaryllis Red Peacock, but only if it is really really red with no orange.
Then looking at the color, maybe it is Lady Jane??
What is it??
