Of course the blooms are unbelievable but the foliage is nice too, sort of like taffata fabric.

I also have a "Bat Plant" and I love it!! I posted about it a few months back after I purchased it.

Mine is currently in bloom with one flower open, one flower in the process of opening and one more bud coming up! I guess it's happy, as I read that it can be very picky about it's environment. I tried to post pictures, but I'm having trouble. If you go to my gallery, you'll see the pictures I took today.

I grow it in a pot in shade outside on my lanai with a little late day sun. I water every 2 to 3 days, keeping it mosit but not saturated.

Much luck with it. It is so cool!

Almost right, Dorothy!! Can't click on it how it is. I just learned how to do this yesterday. I just couldn't figure it out. Copy paste the thumbnail link code (below the picture, in the gallery) directly into the post
Funny how easy things can seem so complicated!!

Thanks Dorothy--yes, that's the flower that just opened.

(As an aside, when I right click to copy, I get an error message. That's been my problem. I don't know if it's my computer settings or what).
