We have our own version over here and also what we call 'Drop Bears'. I was told stories of them as a child while out camping and I fully intend to torment my own children with the same stories LOL

That link is hilarious, Dave. Maybe someone from Ireland can post a picture of a fairy ring or of a leprechaun. Come to think of it, I may have a picture of a leprechaun somewhere.

See Ron, what did I tell you just this week. It was only a matter of time before you started taking pictures of mythical creatures in your many hikes.

Oh and we have panthers in the hills apparently. Personally I suspect they are just really heavy duty black feral cats.

No pictures of drop bears sorry, no one has ever got close enough and survived, you will never know they are there until they drop on you from the trees and take you away to their lair. >Insert evil grin here<

Tindo, you did tell me that and it must have made me remember this picture, and Greengarden, the Drop Bears sounds pretty bad.

Oh yeah they are terrible and closely related to koalas, a clever ruse to lure unsuspecting tourists

That is awesome. Do they prefer one kind of tourist to another? You don't have to answer that.

Oh did someone say fairies?!?!?!?!?!

We have fairies in our yard all the time!

And I've never seen a helicopter make that sharp of a turn. We do have lots of them flying over, about one or more a day some days. They all seem to go just as straight as the planes do. I still say it's a UFO. hee hee hee!!!!

But my fairies ARE real! They visit my gardens.
