While my Aphrodite and Show Master (possibly Temptation) are still sleeping, three others are blooming beautifully!
Pictures are of Dancing Queen (double), Benfica (dark red), and Ambiance (white red stripes). The picture of buds are of Ambiance. I just enjoy looking at those buds with red lining at the edge.
I have to say I am just in love with Ambiance!
I was hoping the flowers will have more red than white and it came out just as I wished!!!
Two stalks opened up their flowers at the same time. Now the third one is slowly growing taller.
Dancing Queen was also nice, but I just couldn't get a nice picture showing its beauty. All the flowers are gone and the second stalk poking its tip just above the bulb seemed stucked. I thought bulb started to rot or something.
Then out of nowhere, a third stalk came out between the spent stalk and leaves. It is alive, yay!
Now, I've been getting different red varieties and by far, Benfica is a keeper! a bit dark, but true red I've been looking for without any hint of orange at all.
It's Amaryllis time again!!!
