I am so glad to know you are alright. Believe it or not I thought about you today. I know there were fires in San Marcos. The evac line keeps moving closer

I think this fire is even worse then the one we had in 03. Stay safe luckygrower! I know we here are waiting for the call to get out if it comes to that. Two other people in my family have already been evacuated from Escondido.

I am praying for all you California members out there or nearby. Stay safe everyone!

Glad to hear from you DJ, and I'm glad that you and your family are all safe, I live about 3 miles from UC San Marcos, we are all safe and for the present out of harms way and not being evacuated.

Think Happy thoughts, or prayers, and make the winds die down, they are supposed to, but who knows, the forecast changes by the hour. It's amazing the way a fire can alter the life of people beyond it's burn area. It's hit us up here at work, the wharehouse I get shippments is from for work is closed. But at least we have our homes intack, our work places intack, a small cry from being homeless, or unemployed, or just not knowing. I hope everyone is safe and keep willing the winds to die down.

It is 8:45am here in San Marcos, we are still watching the news but we are safe ,we are one of the few areas that have not been evacuated, the fire that was close to my home is 100% contained b ut it is still burning all around us, their are a lot of major road closures limiting travel in and out of the area. Andys is still safe as I drove by there at 6:00 this morning.
