I am scared of Sandy. Hope all are safe @ protected around the path of Sandy. After seeing tsunami
sabotages and hearing the size of Sandy I feel sad.
May the Triple Gem bless you all!
At this moment we experience a mini cyclone at B
ay of Bengalle and full day rain.

Winds and rain are just picking up here. The worst is supposed to be tonight. Keep safe everyone!
Seems that there are a lot of phenomena happening in the world right now - earthquakes, storms, etc.

I learned about Sandy today and I'm worried about you guys "over there" (US east coast that is).
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and I hope you'll all be okay. Stay safe!

We lost power at about 6:30 on Monday evening. We had the generator up and running in about a half an hour. We'll still without power, but doing fine. We were worried since we are surround by 100 foot tall trees, but we only have small stuff down. We consider ourselves very lucky the wind was ferocious. No word yet, on when the power will be back on. Other parts of my area are much more severely impacted and New York City is very badly damaged. It will be a while before NYC is back to usual.
Thanks everyone for your support and well wishes!

I second that. I also hope Bud and NYCorchidman are OK as they are from NewYork, as are others on here i'm sure. Sounds like eastern Canada is getting this storm too.

Much of NYC is flooded and/or without power. I'm hearing it may be 7-10 days before we see power back in NJ. I'm online due to a generator
