Comepletely off topic but, here is a picture of my 10 gallon reef. Sorry for the algae. This was taken a year ago when I had a hair algae outbreak.

Kevinator, what is the brand of tank? Is it one of the types which have all the filtering in the back as part of the tank? If so what type of filter is it? Thanks!

I always thought that a 10 gallon would be very hard to maintain as it would be less environmentally forgiving than a larger volume tank.

Looks good!

Hello Oscarman, I don't use a filter for this tank. It relies on a crappy protein skimmer (the airstone keeps getting algae on it) ,live rock, and a heater. The tank is now not so beautiful after Aptasia anemones overtook the tank .
The tank is made by cadlights and so was the lighting fixture. The corals and fish have all died except the clownfish (I added a Bangaii cardinalfish three months ago from now) and the small colony of zooanthids in the front.
RIP Anthelia, Montipora, and that Zooanthid colony I didn't really care about.

Is the yellow coris still alive? I always love the males when they get to their adult coloring and get the green lines on their face.

I had a 50 gallon salt and thought that was a PITA to maintain. I can't imagine keeping a 10 gallon balanced...
