Default Stenosing tenosynovitis

Well I guess I have a case of Stenosing tenosynovitis, trigger finger of the thumb. Ever popped your thumb back the wrong way? yes ooooooooooo it does hurts. Did that like 3 months ago and now Im having problems with a large knot growing under the skin where the thumb joins the palm. My thumb act like its a rubber band gun. It snaps on trying to close my thumb and it bounces out when I stretch it. If it would just be still. ouch again. I might go to the doctor tomorrow and see what they can do. Been looking at the option as I know Im right at what this is. No Is Not Dupuytrens Disease. So much info graphics and diagrams on the web, you can be your own doctor and learn brain surgery thru a stay at home course ..Ive learned from The Orchid Board not to cut on this till I sterilize my tools.

Anyway see you all next week after I get this taken care of hopefully without too much more pain. Ive had enough of being a man and living with it . Im going girly and see da doctor

you need a good sports doctor to look at it and send you to get x-rays and tests then recommend a good occupational therapist to massage and teach you excercises and heat/wax treatments....the thumb is a dominant force among all the fingers or else you wont have a good grip....I injured mine and almost distended it on a ski accident and I recuperated well
