Rainbows in NYC

This is the second time I have seen rainbows in NYC this week. The conditions are great for rainbows, afternoon storms on passing clouds allowing for afternoon sun to hit the rain directly.

The pictures below were the view from my apartment yesterday around 6 pm. We see the rainbow right over Flushing Meadows Park, you can see the New York State Pavillion and Terrace on the Park in some of the pics.
I took several pictures as the rainbow got more and more intense and the lighting conditions changed as the sun got lower and lower in the sky.
