Default Slithering Passion Vine

My passion vine, that covers the front of my house, is like having a coral reef in my front yard. That vine attracts and supports the largest variety of wild life of all my plants. It attracts an abundance of butterflies, caterpillars, bees, wasps, hornets, and larger predators, also. Tonight, I was even surprised by a garter snake. Here's some of my passion wildlife:

That is a first. I have seen carnivore plants before but not that catches its meal like a boa constrictor. Was that Caterpillar dead? Passion flower plant are use a lot for butterfly gradens.

Hey Dave, I posted that pic a while back, also. I threw it in again because it goes with the others, and hey, how often do you see that. To answer your question...yes, it stayed just like that until it dried up and fell apart. If you look close enough, in the picture, you can see some of it's entrails right above it....squeezed it till it popped! It was alive when I first found it there, just barely. My guess is that it got sick of being chewed on! I'm still waiting to get some butterfly pics on the vine, but they've been courting, so they won't hold still long enough to shoot 'em.
