Unhappy Oh, this sucks...
I went back to work this Monday, worked for three days and then, on Friday morning, I woke up with a seriously sore throat and a fever.

Now it has developed into a full fledged cold, with fever, runny nose, sore throat, coughing, and, as a bonus, I can't blow my nose since every time I do, my nose is trying to reenact the Stockholm Bloodbath (or Stockholm Massacre) by spurting blood everywhere.

I feel very sorry for myself and just wanted to whine for a bit.

Just stay away from your orchids - you don't want them having sore throats and runny noses.

Sounds unpleasant! Have you ever tried a Neti Pot w/ saline? They can do wonders for irrigating the sinuses and soothing dry/inflamed nasal tissues.

Lemon, honey, whisky and paracetamol is the best general cold cure I know, and it helps you sleep too! Hope you are feeling better now
