Beautiful rainbows - Orchid Board

Thought I'd share with you a pic I took yesterday evening. Living on the 20th floor I have the perfect place to admire rainbows. The bright one made a perfect arch to the other side of the building, it was so beautiful to see. The splendid view over the Hoge Veluwe national park is the only thing I will really miss when I move out in June. I'm finally leaving my cramped 18m² north facing dorm room to go to a 55m² apartment, with what I think are south facing windows in the living room. Perfect for the orchids!!

Beautiful picture! Congrats on getting bigger space, I see lots of business for EU vendors this summer.
If you are getting south window instead of north, I bet contents of your orchid collection will change some

.
When we were switching houses last fall, my main requirement for new purchase was large south window so my vandas wouldn't be disturbed by moving too much

My north window has been a struggle, and everything is under lights. But I'm still limited in what I can grow. All my somewhat high light orchids are in the south window at my office.

I haven't seen the apartment yet, I go next friday and then I will officially accept it if I like it. I won't be picky though, the housing situation is so bad in this country that when housing agencies put new apartments up for rent you actually have to apply without seeing it, or are are waiting lists for the next available thing. I've been hunting since August and been on waiting lists since then....

What!!!???? I have never heard of that, I had no idea. Wow.

On your picture, I think I can see the pot of gold at the end of the brighter rainbow.
