This is the completely wrong species, but here's a portrait I've drawn in photoshop using a photo-reference. I tried to make the picture as similar to my reference and in the process committed an offense since I never asked for permission to use the original picture (it was from a fashion magazine). I've tried to get a hold of the publishers, photographer, magazine editor etc. to no avail. So if the moderators consider I should remove this picture I will immediately! I'll make a new post and put the picture in that one instead so it'll be easier to remove. I'll also add some work-in-progress pictures so you don't think I've just manipulated a photo or something.

Yeah, I was thinking of Sarah. I have a puppy photo of her that I would love to have a drawing of! And if you're interested, my daughter and her fiance are manga maniacs--a manga of them together would be a great gift. I'll pay, of course.

Also, this will take time so I wouldn't expect too much. I'm very tired at the moment, exhausted is probably a more appropriate word, so I don't know when I'll be able to start with it. We'll deal with payment when/if the picture is done.

Do what strikes you! If you need a photo of her body I can add different poses so you know what she looked like in toto. I just want that expression if possible!

Take your time, I'm in no hurry. Besides, art is inspired and doesn't necessarily meet schedules.
