Oh... I can't see your location on my phone lol...
I know lots of people on your area that grow marvelous specimens of tap water.
My area happens to be liquid rock that kills everything...
So it's RODI for me lol...
I grow most of mine outside.. in holeless containers, in straight sphag.

No need for terrariums. Most American carnivorous plants don't need high humidity. No distilled water? Is there a Walmart or something anywhere? I get my distilled water for about 80 cents a gallon at Walmart for my cp's. If you're a 100% sure of the TDS of your water, you could probably use it. I grow vft's and saracenias in a peat and perlite mix, nepenthes are in sphag and charcoal mix.

Last time i've been to a walmart was 2 years ago and that was my first time lol it was so fun, here in NYC we don't have it so it was like a tourist attraction going there for us, we've always seen commercials.

NYC tap water will be fine. It come from the mountains, which is loaded with bogs. Grow the NA natives outside if you can.

Wow! And I thought I was getting it cheap! I wish I could get it for $0.30 a gallon. $0.80 a gallon is the cheapest I can get it. We may get an RO system soon.

Oh wow, I need to update this. I've been getting treatment for esophagitis for the past few months, so I've been in rough shape.

Thank you! I'm getting a hang of the new image processing software, so that's why everything looks much more balanced.
