I always enjoy looking at your plant photos. I have an N. sanguinea that is smallish but growing fast. How large will the pitchers get? Do you have any pictures of an N. sanguinea to share?

The largest recorded N. sanguinea pitcher was 35cm tall, so it can get pretty big. I don't have one, so I have no photos to post.

The Georgia mountains are really interesting. Very nice bogs up there.

that's so cool, i've always wanted to grow venus flytraps or pitcher plants but it seems like such a hassle having to find distilled water just for them, their care seems so complicated i think i would end up killing them. Nonetheless.. they are some awesome plants.

They're not that difficult. If you can grow orchids you can grow these.

Yes that would be great, also since I can't get distilled water are there other alternatives like perhaps boiling the water first?

Is there a salt water fish store in your area?
They normally carry pure RODI water that they sell by the gallon.

yea I know a few fish stores. Also I did some research and it said that carnivorous plants do well with tap water below 100tds, nyc's water tds is about 40 plus I have brita filter which I heard brings it down even lower.
P.s. Some say to grow in terrariums others say no terrariums and some recommend growing it in sphagum and silica.
