The cliffs around my village are covered in gorse in full bloom...weird or what?

Not on a miserable day like today lol.  It normally never blooms at this time of year but plants are flowering all over the place when they should be dormant. |

Weather sure is weird lately. We had 60 degree temps this week and last week, the forsythia bushes in my yard--and neighborhood--are blooming, and I have daffodils that have leaves a foot tall, at least no buds though. This should be happening in the spring, not now. Crazy!

I grew up in Devon and there was loads of gorse all around where I lived. I love it! I love the smell of it and it's vibrant colour. Did you know that you can make a pina colada inspired drink from it too? Apparently it tastes like coconuts. Living in London I don't see it anywhere now  |
