The cliffs around my village are covered in gorse in full bloom...weird or what?

Not on a miserable day like today lol. It normally never blooms at this time of year but plants are flowering all over the place when they should be dormant.

Weather sure is weird lately. We had 60 degree temps this week and last week, the forsythia bushes in my yard--and neighborhood--are blooming, and I have daffodils that have leaves a foot tall, at least no buds though. This should be happening in the spring, not now. Crazy!

I grew up in Devon and there was loads of gorse all around where I lived. I love it! I love the smell of it and it's vibrant colour. Did you know that you can make a pina colada inspired drink from it too? Apparently it tastes like coconuts. Living in London I don't see it anywhere now
