Looking good ! Dave !
Here's a cheer for that bud to open
I see you have another healthy bud right next to it ..
It's great to see what a nice job you are doing of taking care of them ..
Thanks

Hey D, yes it opened and was a little deformed but after losing most of its leaves from shipping it is no surprise it will bounce back!

Despite the deformity, the coloration is there!
I'm sure that next bud will bloom beautifully
They are hardy plants and will surely bounce back

D, mine's not looking too good
The leaves came very beat up and dropped off right away.
So far, it's just a stick in the pot

Sue I just saw your post today .. awwww .. don't give up on it .. it's a hardy little thing!
Great bloom! Dave!!!
It has really come around nicely! .. I see a ton of new buds on it as well!
Despite how beautiful they look in photos, there is nothing like seeing them in person!
We had about 4 days of rain here and it does a number on the flowers because they are so tissue-paper thin compared to the other 2 hibsicus I have. I'll have to bring them in soon as temps will be going into the mid 30's in the next few days.
I have to find some place to put all of them!

D. It took almost 3 months to flower but as promised here is a picture of the under developed flower. I think I over fertilized it and it took this long to re coop. On the other hand the Hurricane Lilly's you sent me are doing great.

Beauty Dave!
I love that intense orange with the pink in the center. Just keep the soil moist and you'll continue to get flowers.
I'm so very psyched they are blooming and showing their true colors for you. I have mine indoors and the Belize Breeze (pink/white) are still blooming. (It's color is pale, though) My Hurricane Lilies(white/red) and Montego Wind (orange/pink) are a bit stunned but once back in the true sunlight will surely bloom
Great growing

I have the Snow queen version…I’m not very happy with its variegation…the leaves keep reverting back to green..
