Got the buggers!
After a three year battle with a bus company and it's lawyers they saw sense and settled out of court and not one minute too soon. The sad thing is that some drivers haven't learned from their colleagues mistakes and still drive like they're possessed when they're in a bad mood! If there is a next time I wont be so patient.

Seven years ago a junkie hit me in the face with an axe. The result was that my spinal cord was damaged at the base of the neck. I can no longer work and walking is a nightmare. A bus driver in a bad mood drove off without waiting until I was seated. This was three years ago this December. He gave me nothing but attitude so I took them to court. Finally, I got some results. I decided not to go to court because there was no way I could quantify or prove damage despite having my neurosurgeon write a report. the incident cause sever myelopathy in my right shoulder which was not there before the incident but I already had it in my left shoulder after two spinal cord operations. I also walking is much worse than it was prior to this but I can't prove that it is. It's been a nightmare. After all the tests, reports etc. over the past three years I decided that to take a principle to court would be ridiculous because I would have lost. I took the offer they made and that's that lol.

Thank you! He's a still around. He was sent to jail for a weekend for failing to pay his fine. He was released a day early because the Monday was a holiday. He was given his bus fare home and all I got out of it was £30 and the rest of my life unable to work.

You have to be really wary about these crazy drivers...they just want to make time and end their shift and cover the point A to B ...in a manner they can get away with; inform them of your situation and to let them have you seated before they fly away...I am glad you are not in New York...drivers here in general not only have a temper; they defy rules and regulations and even street signs...they are color blind(they cant distinguish red from green); they like to beat the system and defy authority

Yep, it's been a fight to say the least but I'm a tough cookie when I need to be. I think a tropical beach is on the cards for a few weeks in mid winter. I'm tired, stressed and so white it unreal lol. Yes, the chids and my parrots keep me going lol. I have two babies due by the end of this week so there's more excitement and stress.
