The Oncidium Alliance needs YOU!
Some of you have already been introduced to the favorite houseplant poll on the blog PATSP (Plants are the Strangest People). Orchids have made a pretty strong showing eliminating many of their rivals. (Though catts have fallen, phals and the onc alliance are still in the running.)
HOWEVER, it's not over til it's over as the saying goes! In their current match 4.6, the Oncidium Alliances is LOSING!!! To Sansevieria trifasciata no less! Oh the shame!!! 
Surely you aren't going to sit still for this?! Rush on over now and cast your vote, while there's still time and put those silly "snake plants" in their place!

I just brought them to a tie! I can't imagine anyone liking the snake plant better than an Oncidium! But it also kind of boils down to the pictures he has representing each plant. And on that note, the only actual Oncidium PLANT pictured is a little Onc Twinkle. Many Oncidiums' foliage could compete with the snake plant.

OOH, in round 5.2 Phals are up against Christmas Cactus. That's actually a difficult one for me as I love both, but I'm going to be loyal to my orchids and vote for the Phal. It's loosing at the moment though so come on guys and vote for the phal!

If the poll still allowed you to cast a vote, then you were not too late, Bud. 
NOTE: The Oncidium Alliance has actually just started its next bout in Match 5.3 in which it is going head to head with Echeveria so do pop back to help them out!
