they are supposed to reach the trapped miners tonight with a drill to allow fresh air and to lower a camera down to see if they are alive. maybe we could put down are plants for a minute and and think about these men and thier families and hope that everything turns out ok. and glad to hear everyone in new york is ok

I keep checking the news to see if there is any new info on the miner situation. My heart goes out to them, their family and friends.
They are planning here in the NYC and Jersey region for flooding for tomorrow - I am hoping it won't be as severe and we are spared tornados (Very weird weather for this area!)
I thank God the heat finally broke! Whew!
I hear other places in the US are getting some nasty heat as well.
I hope everyone is staying cool and keeping your orchids from wilting best you can!

We're keeping a close eye on the progress with the miners too. Sending good thoughts their way...hope they get to them soon

An unbelievable turn of events!
I read this morning that three of the rescue workers have died and others are injured due to a collapse! My heart goes out to all the families involved there along with the best thoughts for the miners and all the rescue workers.
