Default Bridge in Minneapolis

Hi everyone! I'm safe, but it's kinda surreal that this happened here in MN! I love that bridge too! I just hope I don't know anyone that is hurt, names still haven't been released... but immediate family is A-ok!

Woah! I just saw that on Yahoo! Thanks for keeping us in the loop. The folks here tend to worry a lot and it's nice to know out "buddies" are safe.

Unbelievable tragedy, I read on the INTERNET news that they were warned about the instability back in 1990. It probably was preventable. SAD

Carolyn, I'm glad to hear you and yours are okay.

A tragedy like this makes you realize just how precious life is...we should all remember that

Our thoughts are with everybody there

A terrible tragedy...esp when it could have been avoided..I didn't hear about the warning back in 1990....I can't even imagine the nightmare it must have been for those involved and for the families now.
I pray for those who have lost loved ones.
I too am happy that our chid buddies are safe and sound.

We had a similar tragedy in Portugal some years ago... it was very sad.

The bridge had some minor problems but the main cause was the removal of sand from the river in an stupid big quantity and in the wrong place!

Unfortunately one bus did fell in the river... well better not talk about all of this!

hope things would not turn to be so horrible there.
