It looks like that storm has or is going to trigger everywhere in Ontario or atlease that's what the last reports were showing.
Also baseball size of hail-WTF ??

Sure its scary! For me its the lightening that freaks me out
Dunno about you guys but I don't do to well with these tropical type storms Bring on the 4 feet of snow -- Now that to me is normal
It should be heading our way late overnite into the day tomorrow. We'll likey just see lots rain rain with strong winds.

Keep safe til those storms pass out of you're area

Global warming.
Probably the increasing heat has also caused the earth to shift, like metal expands or contracts with changing temp.

Having spent all of my life on the west coast I've become pretty blase about earthquakes. I don't bother getting off the couch unless it's at least a 6.0. Tornados OTOH scare the bejeebers out of me. Must have watched the Wizard of Oz too many times as a child.

From what I have read and heard no one was injured. I was sorry to hear that some of the monuments in DC were damaged.
