Lilacs have always been my favorite. I got lucky with the new house - we have a nice young Lilac bush planted and it is in bloom right now

let's see.....tis a hard one...but there is this giant terrestrial bromilliad with blue/turquoise flowers....with I could remember the name...but that is a flower I love. I also love the flower of utricularia nelumbifolia.
