Default Echinopsis subdenudata

Well, it's early morning. The sun is just beginning to peak through a thick cloud layer and the rain is expected soon. Last night I knew I'd be greeted by these guys, because I could see they were ready to burst! This is a member of the night blooming cactus, some are called Queen of the Night. They open during the late night/early morning hours and last but a day or so. It has a most wonderful sweet fragrance that can be appreciated from some distance! Enjoy it now because soon it will wither and die...
