Default A Beauty but No Orchid

A friend of mine, who happens to be a member of this forum, gave this to me this past fall. It has grown like a weed and is now flowering for the first time. There are two or three flowers on the other side that you can't see from this angle.

That's a beauty, Howard. I've ran across these several times in the past and from what I gather they can emit quite an odor, like rotting flesh. Any odor detected?

This looks similar to members of the Stapelia family also know as Carrion flowers because of their odor. This does not have any odor that I can detect.

That's really cool, kind of looks like a cherry lifesaver.
