I have some Amorphophallus 'Konjac' bulbs that need a home. Sometimes known as a "voodoo lily", it is known for its .... er .... shall we say fragrance "eau de dead deer".

The flowers are quite large from what I understand and the bulbs would be hardy for those of you in zone 7-10. I have heard that it might be hardy to zone 5 but have never tested it myself.

I grow it for the foliage which I find highly attractive. None of my bulbs have been large enough to bloom (my understanding is they need to be about baseball sized) but mine have produced offsets like crazy.

I have 4 bulbs or so for the cost of postage. (These are still currently small bulbs and likely a few years from blooming size.) If you'd like to just do a single bulb that's fine too. Continental US only (don't know if the PO would allow shipping to Canada).

Hi Paul, could I please get two of them? I'd like to try one outside here with protection and put another in the ground at my in-laws' house in FL (they'll just adore the stench! ). Let me know if they're still available and I'll PM you my address, etc. Thanks for offering these!

Still available, Nat!

As these are small bulbs, you'll have to wait a 2+ years before you'll be able to offend your in-laws with them.

Hah! Probably for the best, once it's been in the ground for a couple of years they might forget that I put it there... Sending you a PM. Thanks again, Paul!

I know Psyguy likes stinky things. I don't think he gets on here too much anymore, though. Do you still have one available?

Hey guys, just thought I would chime in about zones. I live in St. Louis, MO which is a zone 5 and I have two in the ground.

I planted them right up next to the house so during the winter they can get some "shelter" and heat from the basement.

Every year they come back, but have never flowered which is probably good since they are right under a neighbor's bedroom window and she loves having her window open, lol... However, while they get somewhat big, they do not tend to stand upright. Perhaps this is just a light issue though.

It may be my imagination, but I could have sworn that one of them actually skipped growing one year and came back the next year.

That's how they are doing in my zone 5 for those of you interested in one closer to my zone.
