Some updated pictures of my garden...
starting some hibiscus cuttings and a marsh mallow cutting - looks like a mini hibiscus.

my wisteria #2 flowers - very different than the usual ones.

and the tulips - i have four varieties, including some queen of the night - I am not positive yet if these dark ones are the black tulips - have to wait a bit longer for more of the bulbs to bloom - but i think they are.

but either way - the color is a gorgeous dark dark purple/black color.

Yup, those look like Queen of the Night. Like most "black" flowers, they're very dark (purple or burgundy) in good light, but not actually black. When they're not in direct sun & on cloudy days, they appear pretty black though.

Love the wisteria! I used to have one in my old backyard. Watched it grow for 5 years-never bloomed for me
