Sorry for the confusion, that was what I was trying to say tindomul. It may vary from species to species, but mine have to wait that long, except for the new growths which bloom the same year

fishmommy, your setup is incredible! I grow a fair number of tillandsia myself, some clumps bloom every year, some only every 3 or 4 years, and another bloomed after 10 (I had given up hope). They are just as addictive as orchids.

yep. I cant for the life of me remember what this particular variation is called though. It was something that came as a substitution for something else I ordered so the name didnt stick. this one is a slow growing miniature species.
