I have limited experience with tubrous species, but when I had one it seemed to like morning sun. I don't know anything about propagation of that type.

I would trade
as for the rexes, I have had absolutely no luck growing them outside of a terrarium environment. without the high humidity the leaves just can't survive. rexes like lots of light compared to tubers.

I'll see if I can root these then before trading.

more of my begonias, some of which just arrived today.
I recently hacked everything back so the plants are all small right now.

Nice colours. I figure these are all grown mostly for the foliage?

I love rexes and other foliage begonias! Soooo pretty and so many different colors and patterns! Unfortunately I don't have a terrarium to grow rexes in and even in the conservatory I manage I have a hard time keeping them alive. I have a masoniana that is doing fine in regular household conditions.

What's the one in the third photo with the fuzzy-looking silver-spotted leaves?

P.S. Tindo, almost all begonias are easy to propagate from stem or leaf cuttings as long as they have warmth and high humidity.

Fishmommy;

You've got to get over to White Flower Farm near Litchfield and see their Blackmore & Langdon Tuberous begonias. OMG! What plants!

Cheers.
Jim
