I just saw a segment where villagers in India constructed a "living bridge" out of a strangler fig they planted on the banks of a large river, by then coaxing the roots across, over time (generations) a huge, beautiful, living bridge is constructed for the villagers to cross during the wet season. Pardon me, I think that was a serious run-on sentence. Anyway the footage is amazing, and it is adeptly narrated by Mike Rowe (aaahhhh...Mike Rowe...)
