Nice stuff Jennyfluer!

Here are some of my most recent pics, though I took them about 1 month ago except the first two which I took this weekend.

The first two pics are of Albizzia julibrissin, or the silk tree.

Pic 3 is Rubus odoratus, or wild raspberry

Pic 4 and 5 are Cornus amomum, Silky dogwood

Pic 6, 7, and 8 are all of Dogbane, Apocynum cannibum

The last set are of Circaea quadrisulcata, the Enchanter's Nightshade.

More pics from this summer.

Pic 1 and 2, Asclepias exaltata, Poke milkweed. I love milkweeds!

Pics 3, 4 and 5 are the Japanese honeysuckle, Lonicera japonica.

Pics 6, 7, 8, and 9 are the American Basswood, Tilia americana

Last pic is that of Chimaphila maculata, or Spotted Wintergreen, in flower bud. Unfortunately I missed the flowering event for this plant this year, so I have to wait till next year. A massive failure on my part as I had been keeping tabs on this plant since May, and the one time I stopped looking for two weeks is when it bloomed.

Love the Tilia pics, Tindo, we have the Tilia europaea over here which we call the Lime tree (although it bears no relation to the citrus tree). Its flowers have the most wonderful scent on warm days and the trees buzzz with insects busy pollinating it. It's a comon tree but universally hated by car owners as its sap drops onto the roof and is very attractive to fungus and sticky so it stays and leaves very hard to remove marks

This was taken about a month ago in the area of Spokane, Washington - one of our native wildflowers.
