Nice pics, Jennyfleur! 6 looks like some form of St John's Wort, number 7 looks like Cosmos (an annual) and 8 looks like a Gentian of some sort - do you have acid soil?

Here's a spring wildflower, photographed in the Yakima Valley. Don't know if it's amenable to culture or not, but it should be:

Had a very busy weekend over at our house in the country, but I managed to get some pics of some of the blooming plants.
The impatiens bed in front of the house that I put in mid may really took off, the plants are growing nicely. http://inlinethumb45.webshots.com/46...600x600Q85.jpg The Yucca plant. Recovered very well from a bad fungal disease last year. http://inlinethumb02.webshots.com/44...600x600Q85.jpg One of the Geraniums. http://inlinethumb04.webshots.com/45...600x600Q85.jpg A close up http://inlinethumb06.webshots.com/48...600x600Q85.jpg An 80 year old farmer up the road has the most beautiful roses. He's very modest about them, to him they're not much, and not so pretty this year. So he's quite surprised by all the people who stop to take photos! http://inlinethumb21.webshots.com/48...600x600Q85.jpg |
WOW! Those roses are absolutely gorgeous! I'd be one of those people taking photo's myself!
