Im not sure, but I think everyone can edit their first post in a thread, which includes title. Is that true?? Thanks.

I think it's only forum supporters who can do this. Moderators and Admins can also do it for themselves or anyone. I think if you are not a forum supporter it will change the first post, but not the overall thread.

Nice pics, Jennyfleur! 6 looks like some form of St John's Wort, number 7 looks like Cosmos (an annual) and 8 looks like a Gentian of some sort - do you have acid soil?

Thanks :) I don't know (and neither does 'the man') about soil acidity, we've never tested it, though I know you can buy kits. It's very clay-like here, which means digging is very hard work (which, thankfully, I don't do!), but I don't know about the Ph.

Here's a spring wildflower, photographed in the Yakima Valley. Don't know if it's amenable to culture or not, but it should be:

Had a very busy weekend over at our house in the country, but I managed to get some pics of some of the blooming plants.

The impatiens bed in front of the house that I put in mid may really took off, the plants are growing nicely.

The Yucca plant. Recovered very well from a bad fungal disease last year.

One of the Geraniums.

An 80 year old farmer up the road has the most beautiful roses. He's very modest about them, to him they're not much, and not so pretty this year. So he's quite surprised by all the people who stop to take photos!
